I Face Trip.com Failing To Process Refund Despite Cancellation Confirmation
On September 16, 2025, I purchased tickets through Trip.com for the Jakarta–Istanbul flights SV817 and SV261, with a total payment of ₺19,673.43. On the same day, I canceled the tickets, and I was informed that the refund process had been initiated. The payment was made using my credit card (last four digits: 9582).
Despite the time that has passed, no refund has been deposited into my account, even though the Trip.com app still shows a note stating that “your refund has been initiated.” I contacted Trip.com customer service again regarding this matter, but I still haven’t received any clear response or update.
I am currently located in Jakarta, Indonesia, and I urgently request that my issue be resolved. I ask for a clear update on the status of my cancellation/refund process and for the ₺19,673.43 to be returned to my credit card account as soon as possible.
