LG TV Repairs and Unfulfilled Promises
My LG TV turned out to be a huge mistake. My 79-inch LG TV broke down on June 6, 2023, prompting the LG authorized service to intervene. The problem was with the mainboard, which required replacement. They stated that they would check the stock and, if available, perform an in-home replacement due to the size of the TV. They informed me after 1-2 weeks that they had it in another city and would come to install it. What is the price? A staggering 12,500 tl. I reluctantly agreed. However, it did not work after installation. They attempted a fix, but it was also ineffective. They then stated that they needed to return it due to a lack of proper packaging. They promised to return once everything was in order. I contacted them again after two weeks of silence. They took the television, promising to provide an update on the part. I got a call on August 22, 2023. They hadn't made the necessary part, making a repair impossible. They provided two options: a 75-inch TV or an 85-inch TV, both of which required an additional 40,000 tl payment. It's incredible how LG fails to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction. They sold me a TV that didn't come with replacement parts, and now they're offering an insufficient solution. Worse, the new TV will not come with a warranty. If you're thinking about buying an LG television, keep the poor service and lack of spare parts in mind. They managed to irritate even the most composed of people like me.
