I Faced Screen Line Issues on My LG OLED TV After 3 Years, Panel Replacement Costs Extra

I purchased an LG OLED TV believing in the brand’s promise of high quality and long-term performance. Unfortunately, just after three years of use, the screen began showing horizontal and vertical lines that wouldn’t disappear. I performed the pixel cleaning feature multiple times, hoping it would help—but nothing changed. I reached out to LG support and was informed that the panel had failed and that this type of issue cannot be repaired.
Since the standard warranty only covers 2 years, I was told I would need to pay for a complete panel replacement. To my shock, the cost of replacement was nearly as much as buying a brand-new television. I find it completely unacceptable that a premium TV from such a well-known brand would develop a critical fault so soon after the warranty expired.
I invested a significant amount of money in this TV, expecting it to last at least 5 to 10 years without major issues. This situation has shattered my trust in LG’s product quality and customer service. I strongly urge LG to cover the panel replacement cost or offer a reasonable solution. A high-end product should not become unusable after just three years.
