I purchased a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 from Vatan in October 2023, and from the very first day, I have been experiencing black screen errors. Due to university commitments, I delayed sending it for service until August 2024, when I had less reliance on the device. However, the service team returned it claiming no issues were found.

In late November, when I tried to power it on for class, the laptop turned on, but the screen remained completely blank. I contacted customer service three times, followed their troubleshooting steps, but the issue persisted. With multiple assignments due, I had no choice but to send it back to service.

The laptop was returned on Thursday, and since I live in a dorm and have classes all week, I had it sent to my family’s house. When I tested it Friday evening, the screen suddenly turned white with black and gray lines while entering my information. After restarting, the screen started flickering intermittently.

Today is Saturday, and I cannot reach customer service. I have critical assignments and a final project to complete, which is impossible with a laptop that won’t function properly. I do not have access to another device and cannot afford to purchase one. This laptop was already a significant expense for me.

I believe the laptop has a manufacturing defect, as my friends with the same model have no such issues. I am requesting a replacement device because I can no longer deal with these ongoing problems. Vatan's in-store service has also been unhelpful. With my final project deadline approaching in two weeks, I need a reliable laptop urgently.

After this complaint, I took the computer to Vatan and said that I wanted it to be sent for service and replaced. They said they would send it and convey my request, and they did. The staff at Vatan gave me the service's number to call on Tuesday. I called the service on Tuesday. I call the service, and they direct me to Lenovo. I explain the situation to Lenovo, and they say it's not their concern and to sort it out with Vatan. I call Vatan, and they say they've done what was necessary and that I need to talk to the service, that it's not their issue anymore. Who should I speak to now? How will this situation be resolved? My grievance is increasing. At least if a temporary computer could be arranged, but that's not available either. I want the replacement to be done and my computer sent to me as soon as possible. I need to submit my assignment next week, and I haven't even started because I don't have my computer. There's not even a single person who bothers to inform me. I want my grievance to be resolved as soon as possible.

My computer came back from service yesterday (Friday, December 13th), and I picked it up from Vatan. I wanted to check the computer while picking it up, but the woman there didn't care at all. She just said, "Go check it," but I mentioned that the computer coming from service needs to be plugged in for a while. She said, "Go plug it in." It's as if the store is mine and I know where everything is. After this wonderful (!) experience, I came home and turned on the computer. It worked at first, and I even started downloading the necessary applications, thinking it was finally fixed. Until the next morning, Saturday, December 14th, when I turned on the computer. I used it a bit, and it gave a white screen error by itself. There were strange black marks on the edges of the screen. Hoping it might fix itself, I turned the computer off and on. Again, it showed a white screen before booting up. I thought I'd try again, turned it off, waited for a while, and pressed the power button to turn it on. The first black screen appeared, and I thought I'd wait for a while, maybe it would work, but it didn't, so I tried turning it off and on again, and somehow it worked. I finished my work and turned it off, but when I needed to use it again later, it wouldn't turn on, showing a black screen again, and it wouldn't boot up. Thanks to you, I can't complete my final assignment. The deadline is approaching, and I haven't even started. I was only able to download the necessary applications, and then it broke again. You neither bother to provide a temporary computer nor look into the complaints here. When I try to contact Lenovo support, you say it doesn't work today (Saturday). If people didn't have urgency or necessity, they wouldn't want to contact you on the weekend anyway. I want the replacement I am entitled to; enough is enough. I'm tired of being a victim and having my grievances unresolved. There's no one I can contact about my grievances. Because my computer doesn't work, I couldn't complete my final assignment, thanks to you. I don't know what I'll do or what will happen now. Did we buy a computer or something else, I don't know. It goes to service and comes back even more broken, whatever they do there. As I said, I want the device replaced. If it happens soon, I might be able to submit my assignment, depending on the mercy of the professor. So, replace my device as soon as possible.
