Lenovo Yoga Duet7 Has Recurring Screen Issues and Warranty Service Fails to Fix It
Hello, I bought a Lenovo Yoga Duet7 laptop in February 2023. I was satisfied with it after 1.5 years of use and gave it to my daughter for school, purchasing another larger Lenovo for myself. However, problems began soon after. In September 2024, we sent the laptop to service because the screen stopped working, and it was repaired under warranty. But in December 2024, we had to send it to service three more times for the same issue. Now, just three days before the warranty expires, we are sending it to service yet again for the same unresolved problem. My daughter uses this laptop for school, and with her exams approaching, including practical ones requiring a computer, we are in a difficult situation. The service team has not detected the fault, nor have they fixed it, even though they claim to have replaced parts. I suspect these recurring issues so close to the warranty expiration are intentional, forcing us to pay for repairs later. The service personnel even joked, saying, "You’ll pay for it after the warranty ends." I also use Lenovo products at work, but I am dissatisfied with their performance. I regret buying Lenovo as a personal home user and will not purchase their products again. Other brands I have used, like one purchased in 2015 that my kids use heavily for gaming, have lasted much longer despite extensive use. Meanwhile, this new Lenovo has had nothing but problems without solutions. Buying Lenovo has been a regret, and I will never buy one again.
