Leatherman Micra Scissors Fail to Cut Properly at the Tips
I purchased a Leatherman Micra online through Amazon using my credit card. However, the scissors, which are one of the product’s primary functions, do not properly cut material at the tips and instead noticeably crush or deform it. I noticed this issue within a few days of receiving the product. Since it was a brand-new item, I wanted to exercise my right to have it replaced rather than immediately going through the return process.
For this reason, I contacted Sirkeci Best Teknoloji, the distributor of Leatherman products in Türkiye. However, the representative I spoke with dismissed my concern by saying that he personally did not like the scissors either, that they were generally not very good, and that they were all like this. I was extremely disappointed that such an obvious functional problem was treated as normal and that I was essentially brushed off instead of being offered a proper solution.
After receiving no satisfactory assistance from the distributor, I was forced to start a frustrating return process through Amazon. The product is currently with the seller, and I also have documentation such as the delivery receipt available. I never expected this kind of indifferent and dismissive approach from a brand like Leatherman, especially from its distributor in Türkiye.
I request that the product be recognized as defective and that I be provided with a hassle-free replacement or a full refund. I also request that the distributor’s dismissive attitude toward customers and its handling of this complaint be investigated.
