I purchased a total of 6–7 La Roche-Posay sunscreens (mainly Fluide Invisible and Antidark Spot Fluid) through Trendyol under the following order numbers: #10241028938, #10300056151, and #10236360607. When I scanned the barcodes on the boxes, they appeared as original, so I did not initially suspect anything.
However, when I later bought the same product from a pharmacy and compared them side by side, I noticed major differences. The ones from Trendyol had a different smell, made a sloshing sound when shaken, left a white cast on the skin, and had crookedly placed labels. These clear discrepancies strongly suggest the products I received from Trendyol were counterfeit.
Unfortunately, I used these creams for some time, and during that period, my skin began to suffer from itching and increased acne breakouts. I am currently undergoing acne treatment because of the damage caused by these fake products. When I tried to contact the seller, I got an error message saying “Seller not found.” Trendyol customer service also refused to help me since the return period had expired.
In total, I paid ₺2,251 with my credit card for these products. It is unacceptable for a platform as large as Trendyol to allow counterfeit skincare products that put customers’ health at risk to be sold unchecked.
I have completely lost trust in the platform, and I do not want a replacement. My only expectation is a full refund of ₺2,251 to compensate for this financial and health-related loss. Trendyol must take responsibility and prevent such dangerous counterfeit sales in the future.
