I purchased La Roche-Posay Effaclar Micro-Peeling Purifying Gel after reading many reviews and doing research to help reduce my occasional acne problems. I bought the product on December 29, 2025, from an authorized La Roche-Posay seller on Trendyol. However, within a few days of starting to use it, my face developed a severe, almost “map-like” appearance, with a significant increase in acne. The breakouts became painful and itchy. I do have acne-prone skin from time to time, but my condition clearly worsened after using this product.
Because of this situation, I have been negatively affected both physically and emotionally. People around me constantly ask about my face, and as a 27-year-old mother of two, I feel extremely uncomfortable and self-conscious. I’ve even started avoiding my children’s school events, and my social and daily life have been seriously impacted.
Following my complaint, I visited a doctor on February 23. The doctor said that this product might have been too harsh for my skin and advised me to stop using it. I was prescribed Monodox and Benzoxin for treatment, which I am currently using. I am still experiencing discomfort due to the condition caused on my skin.
I contacted Trendyol customer support and requested a return. I have already shipped the product back, but the review process has not yet started. My Trendyol order number is 10833778825.
I request that the negative effects caused by this product on my skin be taken seriously, that a thorough investigation be conducted, and that my return process be completed quickly and smoothly. I also request any possible support from the brand to help restore my skin to its previous condition.
