I purchased a La Roche-Posay facial cleansing gel expecting high quality, especially since I’ve used other products from this brand before without any issues. However, this time I was extremely disappointed. After only a few uses, I developed noticeable dryness, irritation, and redness around my mouth and nose. This reaction was uncomfortable and unexpected from a brand that claims to cater to sensitive skin.
I chose La Roche-Posay because of its trusted name and dermatological reputation, but I’m starting to question the safety of their formulas. After doing some research, I found that I’m not alone—there are several other consumers who experienced similar skin reactions to this product.
I urge the company to investigate this issue and offer a proper explanation. I’m also requesting that they provide some form of resolution for those of us who experienced adverse effects. At the very least, clear usage warnings or recommendations for patch testing should be communicated on the packaging to prevent further skin damage.
