I bought the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Serum Ultra Concentre back in January, specifically to reduce blackheads and minimize pores. I’ve used it consistently for months without skipping a day, but unfortunately, the product has done absolutely nothing for my skin.
My pores look exactly the same, and the blackheads I was hoping to treat are still very much there. I didn’t have any dark spots or discoloration to begin with, so that wasn't my concern—the main reason I chose this serum was its promise to target oily skin and visibly reduce blackheads and pore size.
I’m really disappointed. For the high price (₺), I expected at least some noticeable change, but this felt like applying water to my face. There were no improvements, no purging period, just... no effect at all.
La Roche-Posay needs to stop advertising this as a solution for blackheads if it doesn’t actually work. I trusted the claims and wasted both money and time. I’d like to see accountability from the brand and a clear explanation for why this product is being promoted with such bold promises that it clearly doesn’t deliver on.
