I’m very disappointed with the La Roche-Posay Effaclar face wash, which has done nothing but damage my skin. My skin was naturally a bit oily but clear, with no acne issues before. My spouse purchased this face wash based on its claims to help with oily skin, but instead, it has ruined my complexion. After using it regularly, my face started breaking out with painful, swollen pimples and red spots all over. The supposed "purging process" they mention is misleading — these breakouts are not going away but are instead leaving deep scars and marks. Now, I'm forced to use doctor-prescribed medications to treat my skin, but I fear the scars are permanent.
