I bought a La Roche-Posay sunscreen from a local pharmacy, expecting the same quality I’ve always trusted. But this time, the product I received smelled overwhelmingly like spices or fenugreek—completely off-putting and not how sunscreen should smell. On top of that, the color was an intense dark yellow, totally different from the usual light white or cream tone I’ve always gotten before.
To confirm, I compared it with another tube of the same product I purchased just two weeks ago. That one is clearly white, as shown in my photo. So what happened? When I contacted La Roche-Posay customer service at 0 850 280 33 21, I explained the situation, hoping for support or a product replacement. Instead, they brushed me off, saying it's a “new formula” and that this is how the product will be from now on. That is not a valid explanation—the change in scent and color is drastic and clearly not normal.
The pharmacy also refused to accept a return, leaving me stuck with a product I won’t use and out the ₺ I paid. I expect La Roche-Posay to take responsibility and provide a replacement or refund. If this is truly the “new version,” then customers should be warned. This is unacceptable from a brand that claims to care about sensitive skin. I need a resolution immediately.
