Kuveyt Türk Charged 4 Percent Fee When I Tried to Withdraw My Physical Gold
When we wanted to physically withdraw the gold from our gold account at Kuveyt Türk, they charged us a 4% fee, which was not mentioned when opening the account. When we wanted to sell the gold to the bank, they bought it at rates far below market value, causing us to lose money both ways. The strange thing is that they commit this injustice legally. Even though I am in the right, my request is considered illegal. It's a very strange practice. What the bank is doing is legal, but it’s not ethical; legal, but not right; legal, but not halal; legal, but not moral. Being wronged legally while being in the right and having what belongs to me taken from me right before my eyes is deeply painful. I am a victim, yet I cannot claim my rights legally. I am right, but I cannot get what I deserve. The laws favor the strong, not the oppressed.
