Last year, I bought four Kumho tires for my Hyundai Accent Blue. During my vehicle inspection, the report came back negative because two of the tires had tears on the inner sides. I went to the Kumho Herko dealership in Ankara Şaşmaz Industrial Zone to request warranty support.
They told me they couldn’t process the claim because the invoice wasn’t issued by them. While I was there, my hands got dirty, so I used their restroom before leaving. Later, I contacted the Konya main dealer and the Kumho factory, and they told me that a vehicle registration document (license) is enough to submit a warranty claim.
So, I went back half an hour later to explain this, but when I arrived, the person who appeared to be the store owner started insulting me, saying, “Why didn’t you turn off the bathroom light? Why did you leave soap in the sink?” Before I could even understand what was happening, another man—who said he was the owner’s brother—joined in and verbally attacked me as well.
Even though I apologized if I had made a mistake unintentionally, their rude and aggressive behavior continued. When I said I just wanted to explain my issue and find a solution, they replied, “Even if there’s a solution, there won’t be one for you.”
At that point, realizing I was too upset to continue, I said “Okay, sir,” and left. In my entire life, I have never seen such unprofessional and inhumane behavior, especially from a main authorized dealer. Maybe I accidentally forgot to turn off the light or left soap in the sink—these things happen—but nothing justifies the way I was treated.
I’m writing this not just as a complaint but as a call for basic decency. I hope those responsible learn what humanity and respect really mean.
