Kenwood KVL4170S Kitchen Chef Mixer Arrived Defective

July 11, 2023 12:00 PM50

I purchased the Kenwood kvl4170s Kitchen Chef (stand mixer) directly from Kenwood's website. Upon receiving the product, I noticed that the metal shaft connected to the up-and-down motion of the mixer head was problematic. It not only produced loud noises when in motion, but also caused the locking mechanism to jam. I contacted Kenwood for assistance, but they simply told me to take it to a service center. I went to the service center where they confirmed the issues and documented them in a report. I informed Kenwood's customer service that the machine arrived defective and unused. I provided them with the service center's report and requested a replacement, but the customer representatives I spoke to said they couldn't do anything and that it was company policy not to offer solutions in such cases. It is unacceptable to pay a high price for a faulty product and receive no assistance from the company. This message serves as a complaint to the relevant authorities. Please evaluate and take necessary action regarding this company.
