Kaplan International Student Accommodation Had Serious Hygiene Problems

I have a serious complaint about the student accommodation arranged by Kaplan International. For approximately one to one and a half months, my friends and I have been experiencing persistent itching. At first, we thought it might be caused by mites from dust because, despite paying a cleaning fee, our rooms were not properly cleaned. The rooms were full of dust, so I had to clean my own room myself. When I complained about the situation while I was still staying there, I also learned that the cleaning staff were apparently marking the rooms as cleaned even when they had not actually been properly cleaned.

Later, I returned to my home country and visited a doctor, who informed me that I had contracted scabies. I never slept anywhere other than my own room. We are paying Kaplan International for this accommodation, yet I am leaving with a health problem after having to stay in a dirty room and being unable to properly use the unclean kitchen.

I am extremely concerned about the hygiene and living conditions at this accommodation and intend to file a formal complaint against those responsible. I expect Kaplan International to investigate this matter seriously, explain how these conditions were allowed to occur, and take appropriate action regarding the accommodation and the impact it has had on me.
