Kaplan International Oxford Failed to Schedule My One-on-One Lessons

September 25, 2024 2:03 PM

I purchased 20 hours of one-on-one English lessons at Kaplan International Oxford, and unfortunately, I deeply regret my decision. No proper schedule or program was prepared for my lessons, and the overall experience was highly unprofessional. Because I needed to change my lesson times, my teacher was changed. While I understand that a teacher change can happen, the new teachers did not seem to have any communication or coordination with each other. On one of the days I arrived for my lesson, the teacher had not even been informed, and I was sent back without receiving my lesson.

I still had four hours of lessons remaining, but despite this, Kaplan did not prepare a schedule or get back to me with a plan. Two weeks later, I was pressured to attend lessons on dates that they selected themselves, without properly coordinating them with me. I requested a refund for the unused lessons, but my money was not refunded.

I also felt pressured during conversations with the school director because my English was not good enough. I believe institutions offering this type of service should operate professionally, especially when providing one-on-one lessons. If they do not have sufficient experience or a proper system for managing individual lessons, they should not accept students for this type of program. I am requesting a fair resolution to my complaint and a refund for the lessons I was unable to receive.
