Jeep Compass Frequent Stalls and Steering Lock
We bought our Jeep Compass in May 2022 with great anticipation, but it stalled twice while we were driving, the steering locked, and we narrowly avoided a serious accident due to our reduced speed. The final service was held on June 15th. My wife drives the car but with trepidation and hesitation. I've read similar complaints from other owners, implying that this is a recurring problem. I'll be taking the car to the service center this week in the hopes that this problem will be resolved. This has been a terrifying experience, and it's concerning to see multiple owners dealing with the same problems. Safety should always come first, and I'm hoping that the service center can provide a definitive solution to ensure that our Jeep Compass runs reliably.
