iStock Free Trial Trapped Me in a 1-Year Subscription – Won’t Let Me Cancel

I signed up for a 1-month free trial on iStockPhoto, but when I tried to cancel before the trial ended, I couldn’t find any cancellation option on their website. Instead, once the trial period expired, they automatically enrolled me in a 1-year paid subscription and started charging my credit card $14.90 per month without my consent.

When I contacted customer service to cancel, they told me I had to pay half of the annual subscription fee just to exit the contract. This is an unfair and deceptive practice, and I feel completely trapped by iStock’s manipulative policies.

I have already filed complaints with CİMER and the Consumer Arbitration Board, and I warn others to be cautious before signing up for iStock subscriptions. If you’ve been affected by similar unfair charges, I encourage you to take legal action.

I demand an immediate cancellation of my subscription without additional fees and a refund for unauthorized charges. iStock must stop misleading users and make the cancellation process clear and accessible!
