If IndiGo Airlines lost your checked luggage and you want to get compensation;

• Attach photos of the damaged/missing bag (if applicable), PIR (Property Irregularity Report) issued at the airport, and proof of contents/receipts for high-value items
• List the items in the bag with approximate value and receipts if available

Ask them to;

• Confirm that your baggage has officially been declared lost
• Explain why the baggage was lost and the status of the search/tracing efforts
• Process compensation for the lost baggage based on their policy and applicable air transport rules
• Reimburse essential expenses you incurred due to the delay or loss if permitted
• Provide a written acknowledgment of your claim with a reference/case number
