$2000 and Valuables Stolen from My Bag on IndiGo Flight 6E1912

On August 21, 2024, during IndiGo flight 6E1912 (seats 5A-5B, PNR B52Z2U) from Phuket to Mumbai, I accidentally left my backpack on the plane due to the flight attendant placing it far behind my seat. When I realized this, I immediately sought assistance from IndiGo's transit staff at passport control. Initially, they refused to help and told me to search for the bag myself.
After much insistence and with the help of other officers, the staff finally contacted several locations regarding my bag. An hour later, they returned it, but it had clearly been tampered with. My $2000, a gold necklace, and important documents were missing. Despite my pleas, the staff was dismissive, merely suggesting I send an email.
I demand an urgent investigation and full reimbursement for my stolen belongings. This experience has severely impacted my trust in IndiGo.
