IndiGo Airlines Delayed My Flight 10 Times, Causing Me to Miss My Father’s Funeral
IndiGo Airlines has been the most unhelpful airline I’ve ever dealt with. On March 6, 2024, my Mumbai-Istanbul flight was delayed 10 times over 24 hours, leaving me stranded for nearly 48 hours. Despite repeatedly explaining that I needed to return for my father’s funeral, the airline staff continuously lied, claiming the delay was due to technical reasons and that the flight would eventually depart. In the end, the flight was canceled altogether.
Not only did I miss the funeral, but I also had to purchase a new ticket and return a day late. The emotional toll was immense—I was devastated and remained sleepless for 60 hours. IndiGo offered no compensation, no communication, and absolutely no support. This level of negligence is unacceptable. I demand accountability and immediate action to address this issue. Passengers deserve better.
