IKEA Brimnes Missing Parts Issue
On May 30, 2023, the Brimnes white bookcase I purchased from the IKEA online store arrived incomplete. When I contacted the company, they initially asked me to sign the product invoice and send it to them. Subsequently, they assured me they would provide the missing part. However, they only delivered one of the components that were supposed to arrive. After a lengthy waiting period, the customer service team suggested an exchange. I sent back all the parts I had along with the exchange code they provided. The product reached them on August 29th. Regrettably, since that day, no replacement product has been dispatched to me as promised. Every time I call, the customer service representatives claim they will get back to me within 72 hours, but there has been no progress. They have failed to supply a complete bookcase for five months. At this point, I am initiating legal proceedings as a lawyer. I advise prospective shoppers to be cautious and avoid falling victim to this issue. Do not solely rely on the company's assurances and refrain from enduring months of waiting.
