My IKEA Order Gone Wrong
On June 16, 2023, I placed an order with IKEA for a two-part bookshelf with glass doors. However, on July 5, 2023, while I was not at home, Horoz Lojistik, the delivery company, left the item as a single piece at the site's security office. I complained to IKEA four times about the incorrect delivery. Each time, the call center assured me that my request had been forwarded. As of July 24, there had been no progress in initiating the refund process, despite multiple assurances. The shipping company claims to have started the return process, but nothing has happened. It's infuriating that IKEA can't refuse payment for the missing part. Furthermore, because I live in a city without an IKEA store and purchased the item online, I can't find anyone to address my concerns. They keep me waiting by making false promises, such as stating that my request has been forwarded and that the item will be collected from my address within three days.
