IKEA Failed to Replace My Defective Ivar Side Units Despite Multiple Service Requests
On September 27, 2024, I purchased two Ivar side units from IKEA. The items were delivered to my residence via cargo, but unfortunately, they were defective. After contacting IKEA customer service, I returned the faulty side units along with the middle units they were screwed into. Despite more than two months passing, I have received no response. Despite creating multiple service requests, it feels like my complaints have been completely ignored. It has been nearly three months since the purchase, and IKEA still hasn’t delivered the correct items or provided any updates. I’ve shopped at IKEA many times in the past, but now I see how careless and indifferent they have become regarding post-sale support and product delivery. I will never purchase anything from IKEA online or in-store again without seeing the product first.
