In October 2024, I applied for a Germany national visa through iData. Since then, nearly eight months have passed, and no appointment date was ever assigned to me. During this entire period, I meticulously checked both my email inbox and the iData tracking system almost daily for any updates.
Then, on May 6, 2025, when I checked my application status, I was shocked to see it marked as “cancelled.” I never requested this cancellation, nor did I receive any email notification from iData about it. I checked thoroughly—including my spam folder—and there is no trace of any communication.
This cancellation clearly happened without my knowledge or consent and appears to be the result of a technical failure within iData’s system. If I were to start a new application now, I would face several more months of waiting, which would severely impact both my career plans and my employer in Germany.
It is absolutely unacceptable for such a long and sensitive process to be derailed by such a careless error. I am demanding that iData immediately resolve this issue, reinstate my original application, and continue processing it without forcing me to start over.
This mistake has caused significant stress and potential damage to my professional future. I urge iData to take urgent action and correct this failure without further delay.
