HSBC Premier Gave Wrong Investment Advice – I Faced Losses

I have been an HSBC Premier customer for years, but after this experience, I am closing my account. Due to misguidance from the branch manager and customer representative, I invested in funds that resulted in significant losses. When I asked why this happened, the branch manager blamed me, saying, "Who told you to buy this fund?", while the representative claimed, "I told you not to buy it, but you did anyway." Instead of offering solutions, they just shrugged off responsibility. Their dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and unprofessional behavior are unacceptable. I have already filed complaints and will continue to follow up. If HSBC employs such incompetent staff, they will only continue to lose customers. Avoid this bank!
