Overpriced Repairs for the HP Smart Tank 515
I purchased the HP Smart Tank 515 printer model 3.5 years ago, and recently, persistent print head errors led me to send it for service. The service provided a fault report with registration number WO-023856042, diagnosing issues with codes MECH1 (Mechanical Assembly) and 6055 (backbone). However, the proposed repair cost of 4,997 TL raises questions, especially considering the market price of the printer hovers around 5100-5200 TL. Is it justified to charge nearly the same as a new printer for repairs when factory inks haven't run out?
