Hotpoint Ariston Refrigerator Glass Shelf Shattered During Normal Use
The original glass shelf located above the crisper drawer in my Hotpoint Ariston refrigerator suddenly shattered on July 20, 2026, while I was removing the glass. It exploded without warning, sending hundreds of glass fragments throughout the area. This created a serious safety hazard in my home, and because I have been unable to locate a replacement part, I can no longer use my refrigerator efficiently.
The glass shelf was not subjected to any abnormal use. I never placed hot pots, baking trays, or any other inappropriate items on it. It was the refrigerator’s original factory-installed component, and it shattered during normal use. For this reason, I believe the incident was caused by a product defect rather than user error.
I request that the shattered glass shelf above the crisper drawer be replaced free of charge by providing a replacement part. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue as soon as possible.
