I Accidentally Canceled My Hilton Moda Stay on Hotels.com and No One Helped Restore It
I booked a 3-night, 4-day stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Moda through Hotels.com. About a week after booking, I accidentally clicked the cancel option while trying to manage my reservation. I immediately realized the mistake and tried to fix it—but there was no way to undo the cancellation on the site.
I contacted the hotel for help, and they told me to speak with the travel agency I booked through. I contacted Hotels.com, and they pushed me back to the hotel. Neither party took responsibility, and in the end, no one helped restore my reservation. I wasn’t asking for a refund—I just wanted my original booking reinstated.
