Hotels.com Sold Me a Nonexistent Hotel Room – No Support

I booked a two-person room at Kalpe Houses Holiday Village through Hotels.com (Reservation Code: 73029013160085) at 20:58 last night, expecting a hassle-free stay. After driving 300 km, we arrived only to find that the hotel was completely closed and deserted—no staff, no guests, nothing. After several attempts, we finally reached the hotel owner, who informed us that they have no agreement with Hotels.com and that the property has been closed for months due to renovations! We were left stranded on the street late at night with no place to stay, and most hotels were already full.
We immediately tried to contact Hotels.com for urgent assistance, but their customer service was unreachable—no phone support, no response. How can they sell rooms for a hotel that doesn’t even operate? This is completely unacceptable. If my issue is not resolved immediately, I will pursue legal action and demand full compensation for the financial and emotional distress Hotels.com has caused me. Fix this now!
