Hotels.com Refuses $176 Refund for Booking Canceled One Hour Later
On July 28, 2026, I booked a stay at Miracle Istanbul Asia Airport Hotel & SPA through Hotels.com for August 4–5, 2026, totaling $176 (Confirmation #72077313669524). Realizing I had selected the wrong dates, I canceled the reservation about an hour after placing it.
I never checked in, never stayed in the room, and did not use any accommodation services from Hotels.com. Despite this, Hotels.com informed me that they will not refund any of the $176 because the booking was classified as "non-refundable." I hold written email proof from Hotels.com refusing to issue a refund despite my immediate cancellation.
Charging me the full $176 without providing any service has caused me significant financial frustration. Because of this unfair treatment, I initiated a credit card chargeback dispute through my bank and submitted all supporting documentation.
I demand that Hotels.com issue a full refund of $176 for this completely unused booking and resolve this unfair charge immediately.
