I'm complaining about hotels.com. My advice to everyone is to think twice about working with such companies. Because they are not officially registered with the Ministry of Tourism in certain countries. This doesn't matter. First and foremost, an e-mail arrives one week before the holiday. "Your reservation has been canceled". Then I start corresponding. First of all, they informed me that you had canceled your reservation. It took me about 4 hours to explain that I had not conducted such a transaction. Then they asked me to book the same hotel again and offered to pay the difference. Then we'll pay the difference up to $100... After a lengthy debate (4 hours), they were persuaded and convinced me to book the same hotel again. I also booked a room at the same hotel. They paid the full difference fee. I was suspicious of the hotel and did not contact them for two days. Then, this morning, I called the local police and learned that the hotel (Matiana Hotel) had been closed for about a week. In this case, I immediately canceled the reservation. Then I contacted hotels.com, who said they couldn't issue refunds without the hotel's approval. So, how will you receive confirmation from the closed hotel? Will you ask the closed hotel again if it is closed? I asked. I have been using hotel.com for years, but in such cases, their true face emerges. I am complaining about them; it should be stopped. The first image shows a screenshot of the first reservation cancellation. Despite the fact that they had no information about me, they accused me of canceling the event at 11:06 using the mobile application. I informed them that I did not enter the application at the canceled time, and that the document you sent contained no lines or information about me. By the way, they persuaded me to book a second reservation. Today, they respond that you made the second reservation, and we cannot provide a refund until the hotel confirms it. We're waiting for a response from a closed hotel!
