Helly Hansen Shoes Torn After 5 Wears, Refund Process Mishandled

I purchased a pair of Helly Hansen shoes, and after wearing them only 5–6 times, tears appeared on the shoes. I sent the product for inspection, and I was told that the shoes would be replaced. However, when I went to the store, they said the shoe section was being discontinued, and they would refund me in cash instead.

Later, when I returned to the store, they told me that I now needed to make another purchase instead of receiving cash. I chose another product, and they said they would place an order which would arrive within a week — but the product took two months to arrive. When I went to pick it up, they told me the item had already been sold.

It feels like they are mocking customers, constantly giving conflicting information, and passing me from one person to another without any real solution. This has been a frustrating and exhausting experience.
