Helly Hansen Jacket’s Inner Layer Destroyed After First Wash – No Support Offered




I purchased a Helly Hansen jacket two years ago and have only worn it 5-6 times this year. Despite following all care instructions, the jacket’s inner protective layer completely disintegrated after the first wash. I took the jacket to Sport Works, where I bought it, and requested an inspection. Even though the warranty period had expired, I expected better quality for a jacket at this price. I also suggested a replacement or a discount on a new product, but Helly Hansen refused to take responsibility. Their explanation, claiming the damage could occur if the jacket wasn’t washed before use, is absurd. For a premium brand, this lack of accountability is unacceptable. I urge Helly Hansen to reevaluate this issue and provide a fair resolution.
