Helly Hansen Quality Complaint – Brand Letters Came Off After One Wash


I purchased a white Helly Hansen cap from the brand’s store. Even though I washed it exactly according to the washing instructions on the label, the brand lettering on both the front and back of the cap peeled off completely after the first wash.
About 20 days after purchase, I took the product to the store in person to request an inspection or refund. However, they simply said, “There’s nothing we can do,” and refused my refund request. They didn’t even bother to send the product to the manufacturer for review.
I paid $27 for this cap, yet neither the retailer nor the distributor stood behind the product. This experience shows that even when you buy an expensive product, you apparently can’t expect a refund or inspection if something goes wrong.
