Halalbooking Demands $377 Fee to Reschedule Hotel After Child Breaks Arm

Through the travel agency Halalbooking, I booked a standard room with an all-inclusive package at Bera Alanya Hotel for May 16–18, paying a total of $664. However, on May 15, my son suffered an accident at school and broke his arm. Due to this unexpected medical emergency, I contacted the agency that same day, explained the situation, requested to reschedule our stay, and provided my son's official hospital records.

Despite my clear request to change the dates, they informed me that rescheduling was only possible if I paid an additional price difference of $377. Throughout this process, I spoke with both Halalbooking and the hotel separately, and although both parties repeatedly promised to follow up, no one ever got back to me. On May 19, my reservation still appeared as confirmed in the system, but today I discovered that they canceled my booking entirely.

I had reassured my sons that our vacation dates were simply being moved, which made them so happy, but I am in no position to pay the requested extra fee. Despite my son's serious medical condition and the official documentation I provided, I find it completely unfair that they demanded such a high price difference and ultimately canceled my reservation. I demand that Halalbooking reschedule my reservation to an available date free of charge, without requiring any additional payment.
