HalalBooking Canceled My Stay for No Reason — Yet Keeps Selling the Same Dates
Through HalalBooking, we paid in full for a 5-night stay from August 28 to September 2. However, our reservation was canceled, with the explanation that the hotel did not accept the booking.
The next day, out of curiosity, we tried searching for the same hotel, same dates, and same room on the HalalBooking website — and to our surprise, it was still available at the same price and open for booking.
How can HalalBooking allow a room that was canceled for us to remain listed for sale?
If the hotel is not accepting guests at that price, why is it still visible, why can bookings still be made, and why is the payment processed?
We demand that this unjust cancellation be corrected and that our loss and inconvenience be compensated, as we were wrongly deprived of our confirmed and paid reservation.
