I bought a Haier dryer. On the first day my wife used it, the water tank did not fill. It turned out there was a broken part inside. The service technician came and confirmed the part was broken. We requested a replacement with a brand-new unit. They told us, “Legally we will get back to you,” but they never did.
My wife and I called many times. They told us the factory won’t replace the unit and suggested we install a part instead. I paid for a brand-new machine only two days ago — why would I want them to open it up and install a part? I want a new replacement unit.
If this issue is not resolved, I will pursue all legal rights available to me. I expect Haier (and the retailer/service) to replace the defective dryer with a new one immediately.
