H&M Low-Quality Product And Irresponsible Store

On April 19, 2024 (approximately 2 months ago), I purchased a pair of linen shorts. After wearing them for the first time, I noticed that the fabric in the hip area had already started to pill. As we are just entering the summer season, I have only worn them once and have not washed them yet. Not only was the product of poor quality but when I went to the store, I was told that no action could be taken without a printed receipt. The brand not only sells low-quality products but also does not stand behind them. If I had bought these from a market, I would have accepted this outcome, but the reason we trust brands and shop from them is to have someone to address these issues. Clearly, this is not the case with this brand! At the very least, I expected the product to be inspected and possibly repaired, even if a return/exchange was not possible. I will never shop here again, and I hope others do not have to experience this!
