H&M Cotton Sweatpants Pilling After Short Use

I purchased multiple pairs of H&M cotton sweatpants at different times in 2024, and all of them have developed severe pilling in the crotch area. This has happened to three pairs, despite washing them on a gentle cycle and never using a dryer. Considering the price I paid, I expect better quality. What’s even more frustrating is that H&M demands a receipt for a quality issue, even though the products clearly have H&M tags on them. I no longer have the receipts, so does that mean I’m stuck with defective items? I didn’t even bother going to the Metromall store because they’ve insisted on receipts in the past. H&M, stand behind your products and resolve this issue fairly!

"H&M customer service got back to me on the third day and provided information for me to send the products with the return code they gave. The products arrived at the address I sent within 2 days. My refund was issued the next day. Thank you for the quick action and help. My request to the company is to remove products that deform this quickly from sale."
