Child Spent ₹12,000 on Free Fire Without Permission, Google Play Refund Still Pending

I am a parent writing about an unauthorized in-app purchase made through the Google Play Store on my Redmi C15 device. On February 27, 2026, my 8-year-old son spent a total of ₹12,000 in the Free Fire game using Google Play without my knowledge or permission.

After I discovered the issue, I contacted customer support and received a refund of ₹2,000. However, the remaining ₹10,000 has still not been refunded.

My child is only eight years old and made this purchase without understanding the value of the money or realizing that he needed parental consent. I respectfully request that the remaining ₹10,000 be refunded, as this was an unintended transaction made by a minor without parental authorization. I would like the remaining amount returned to the original payment method.
