Wrong Credit Card Number Appeared For Refund

On 17/10/2026 in Munich I used Global Blue for a tax refund and clearly selected the option to receive the refund to my credit card. I carefully entered my card details, but on the final Global Blue receipt a completely different card number appeared instead of the card I had provided, which ends with 4217. Because of this discrepancy I am concerned that my refund may be sent to the wrong card. I have my Global Blue refund form and transaction details available if needed. I kindly request that the card number on my tax refund be checked and corrected so that the refund is processed to the correct card ending in 4217, and that I am informed in writing once this has been done. In addition, I would like a clear explanation of how such an error could occur, especially as I am aware that other customers have reported similar issues, and what measures will be taken to prevent this from happening again.
