Global Blue withdrew part of my tax-free refund from my account and failed to pay the remaining portion, claiming that I did not get my invoices approved by customs. However, my tax-free procedures were completed at the kiosks in Roermond Outlet Center by the staff there, and the refund to my credit card account was processed immediately.
On December 8, 2025, at Düsseldorf Airport, the invoices and the purchased items were physically reviewed and officially approved by customs. Afterward, all documents were dropped into the yellow mailbox as instructed. Despite this, I continued to receive emails telling me to get customs approval and mail the documents. Since I had already completed both steps, I assumed these emails were routine reminders.
However, the $167.73 that had already been credited to my account was later withdrawn, and the remaining €80 tax refund was never paid at all. I previously experienced the same issue in Rhodes, where I followed the same procedures but still did not receive my tax-free refund. It is clear that this company is losing documents and causing repeated financial harm to customers.
I request that my complaint be resolved and that my missing tax-free refunds be paid without further delay.
