Unauthorized Transaction To My GCash Wallet

This morning I discovered that an unauthorized payment of ₱699 was taken from my GCash wallet and paid to Starread Technology Limited. The GCash transaction record shows a payment of ₱699 on October 17, 2026 at 07:03 AM, with Merchant Transaction Number AD2111231685123907584 and GCash Reference Number 187667565. I did not authorize this transaction, have never installed any application, and have never used any subscription or service related to Starread Technology Limited. There was no one else who had my permission to access or use my GCash account at the time of this payment. I contacted GCash customer support to have this unauthorized transaction checked and reversed, but my request was refused without any clear explanation or solution. I am attaching the screenshot of the transaction details so that you can see that this payment was made without my knowledge or consent. I kindly request that GCash and Starread Technology Limited jointly investigate this unauthorized payment as soon as possible and process a full refund of ₱699 back to my GCash wallet. I also request that any related recurring charges or hidden subscriptions linked to this transaction be cancelled and that my account be secured so that similar unauthorized payments cannot occur in the future.
