GCash Unauthorized ₱699 Payment To STARREAD TECHNOLOGY LIMITED
On October 9, 2026 at around 8:14 PM, I discovered that an unauthorized payment of ₱699 was taken from my GCash account. The transaction details show a payment of ₱699 to STARREAD TECHNOLOGY LIMITED with Merchant Transaction Number AD2108531436374728704. I did not authorize this payment and I have never installed, subscribed to, or used any application or service related to STARREAD TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. I am the owner of the GCash account and no one else is allowed to use it. I already contacted GCash support regarding this issue, but I was informed that they do not know how to refund the amount and my request for assistance was not resolved. This was very disappointing, as this is clearly an unauthorized transaction. The amount of ₱699 is my personal allowance, and losing this money due to an unauthorized charge has caused me financial difficulty. I am requesting that this unauthorized payment be fully investigated and that the amount of ₱699 be refunded back to my GCash wallet as soon as possible.
