I purchased a brand-new Garmin Swim 2 watch (serial number: 650006109), and to my disappointment, the device didn’t work at all right out of the box. It wouldn’t power on, respond, or function in any way. For a brand like Garmin, known for its reliability and premium pricing, this is extremely frustrating.
I immediately took it to the authorized technical service, but honestly, this shouldn’t happen with a new product from a global brand. Garmin needs to implement much stricter quality control, because receiving a dead unit straight from the box shows a clear failure in their manufacturing checks.
At this point, I’m requesting a replacement device, not a repair. I paid for a fully functioning new watch—not one that needs to be fixed before I can even use it.
