Huawei Watch GT2 Took in Water Even Though I Only Swam
I purchased the Huawei Watch GT2, anticipating that it would be ideal for swimming, particularly because it features a specific swim mode and is marketed as water-resistant. I haven't used it while diving—just during my usual swimming sessions—and it still managed to take in water. I took my device to the service center, and they informed me that the screen, motherboard, and battery had all suffered from liquid damage. They quoted me a repair cost of ₺4744. I was quite disappointed, as I depended on the product's official features and adhered to the recommended usage instructions. It's baffling that a watch advertised for swimming can't withstand even minimal water exposure. I anticipated greater transparency and responsibility from a company such as Huawei.
