My Apple Watch Ultra 1 Took in Water After a 10-Min Swim
I purchased the Apple Watch Ultra 1 specifically because it was marketed as a device designed for water activities, including diving and swimming. Despite not being an experienced swimmer, I wore the watch during a brief swim—no more than 10 minutes in a standard pool.
To my shock, the watch took in water and stopped functioning properly. This is extremely disappointing for a device that’s sold with the clear promise of water resistance, especially for activities like swimming.
Unfortunately, my warranty has just expired. But that doesn’t change the fact that this product failed to perform its advertised function. If a watch built for water can’t handle even a basic swim, what’s the point of all the hype?
Apple, I trusted your claims and paid for a premium product. I now expect you to take responsibility and either repair or replace my Apple Watch Ultra 1. This shouldn’t happen with a device promoted for underwater use. Please resolve this issue promptly.
