Freebird Airlines Damaged My Luggage at Istanbul Airport – No Compensation Offered



After my flight with Freebird Airlines at Istanbul Airport, my luggage was damaged. Despite having all the necessary documents, including images and the damage report, the airline refuses to compensate me for the damage. They claim they cannot process the refund without a receipt, even though the suitcase is several years old. I’m now forced to buy a new suitcase, and they refuse to provide any compensation unless I can present a receipt for the item, which is unreasonable. This is a clear case of poor customer service, and I will be escalating the issue to the tour company as well. Freebird Airlines is a company I strongly advise against using.
